Emirates has temporarily suspended a number of scheduled flights to and from Dubai until March 7, 2026 (23:59 UAE time) due to airspace restrictions across parts of the Middle East. The airline stated that the decision was taken as a precautionary safety measure as several countries in the region have limited or closed portions of their airspace following rising geopolitical tensions.

According to updates from Emirates’ flight schedules portal, the suspension comes as the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other continues to impact aviation operations in the region. The situation has entered its fifth day, prompting aviation authorities in several countries to implement temporary airspace restrictions, forcing airlines to adjust routes, delay flights, or suspend services on certain sectors.

Airspace closures and security concerns have created operational challenges for airlines flying through the Middle East, one of the world’s busiest aviation corridors connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa. As a result, carriers are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with aviation regulators to ensure safe flight operations.

Emirates has advised passengers travelling to or transiting through Dubai to check their flight status before heading to the airport. Travellers are encouraged to stay updated through the airline’s official website or customer service channels for the latest information regarding schedule changes, cancellations, or rebooking options.

The airline emphasized that passenger safety remains its top priority and that normal flight schedules will be gradually restored once airspace conditions stabilise and authorities confirm that it is safe for commercial aviation operations to resume.
