Uzbekistan’s fast-growing private airline Centrum Air has announced an expansion of its flight services on the Tashkent–Delhi route, marking a significant step toward strengthening travel connectivity between India and Central Asia. The enhanced schedule will come into effect from March 29, 2026, offering passengers more frequent travel options between the two cities. With increasing demand for international travel and stronger tourism ties between the two regions, the airline aims to provide a more flexible and convenient travel experience for both business and leisure travellers.

Under the revised schedule, Centrum Air will operate three weekly flights between Tashkent and Delhi, running on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using modern aircraft from the Airbus A320 family. The additional frequency is expected to significantly improve travel flexibility, enabling passengers to plan their trips more efficiently. The airline is also offering competitive fares starting from approximately USD 256 for round-trip travel, making the route more accessible for Indian tourists and professionals travelling to Uzbekistan or connecting further to international destinations.

Beyond direct connectivity, the expanded route strengthens Tashkent’s position as a strategic aviation hub linking Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. Passengers travelling from Delhi will gain easier access to multiple destinations across the airline’s international network, including Tbilisi, Batumi, Guangzhou, Istanbul, and Tel Aviv, via seamless connections through Tashkent. Industry experts believe the expansion will further boost tourism, business exchanges, and trade relations between India and Uzbekistan while opening new travel opportunities for passengers exploring Central Asia’s cultural and economic landscape. The move also reflects Centrum Air’s growing commitment to the Indian market and its broader strategy of building a strong international route network.
