Exhicon Events Media Solutions Limited has announced the signing of a strategic Design & Construction along with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) partnership for a new Exhibition & Convention Centre at MMLP Indore, further strengthening its footprint in India’s rapidly growing venue infrastructure space.
The agreement marks Exhicon’s 5th multipurpose venue deal in the last two years under a PPP, design-and-build, and O&M model, reflecting the company’s continued focus on building a capital-efficient, annuity-led revenue platform. This approach enables long-term income generation while minimizing upfront capital investment.
In a differentiated project structure, the entire CAPEX will be funded by the developer, while the design and construction mandate has been awarded to Exhicon’s subsidiary, Exhicon Global Development Pvt Ltd. This allows Exhicon to monetise project CAPEX through execution revenues, in addition to generating sustained income through long-term operational management.
Strategically located within the Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) Indore in the Pithampur industrial hub, the project spans approximately 4 acres within a larger 255-acre logistics park. It is part of a broader ~25-acre commercial ecosystem that will integrate hotels, retail spaces, and convention infrastructure, positioning it as a comprehensive business and events destination.
The upcoming facility will include a modern exhibition centre, convention centre, open event arenas, along with integrated utilities and parking infrastructure, designed to support a wide range of business events, exhibitions, and large-scale gatherings.
With this addition, Exhicon has now secured five multipurpose venue projects in the last two years, of which two are already operational, demonstrating strong execution capabilities and faster monetisation cycles. Notably, this is also the company’s second project under a design-build-led engagement model, reinforcing its integrated design-build-operate platform.
Exhicon continues to position itself as a full-stack venue infrastructure player, spanning development, execution, and long-term operations. The expansion aligns with India’s increasing demand for organised exhibition and convention infrastructure, particularly as the MICE industry continues to scale across emerging business hubs like Indore.
