Air India has entered into a long-term agreement with Thales Group to implement its FlytCARE services for inflight entertainment (IFE) systems, marking a significant step in the airline’s ongoing transformation and passenger experience enhancement strategy. The 10-year agreement will support Air India’s growing fleet and reinforce its commitment to delivering world-class onboard services.
Under this partnership, Thales will provide a comprehensive suite of maintenance, repair, and technical support services for Air India’s inflight entertainment systems. The FlytCARE solution is designed to ensure high system reliability, improved performance, and seamless passenger experience, while reducing downtime and operational disruptions.
The agreement will cover Air India’s existing and upcoming fleet, including both widebody and narrowbody aircraft, as the airline continues its ambitious expansion and modernization plans.
