NILE Hospitality has announced the signing of a 120-key Courtyard by Marriott Somnath, marking a significant expansion of its branded hospitality portfolio in Gujarat’s rapidly growing spiritual and leisure tourism market. The upcoming hotel project reinforces the company’s strategy of bringing globally recognised hospitality brands to emerging destinations with strong tourism and cultural significance.

Strategically located close to the iconic Somnath Temple, the property is expected to cater to the increasing influx of domestic and international travellers visiting one of India’s most revered pilgrimage destinations. The hotel will feature 120 well-appointed rooms and suites, along with banquet facilities, event spaces, and a swimming pool, positioning it as a comprehensive hospitality offering for religious tourists, leisure travellers, social gatherings, and business events.

The project is being developed in partnership with Somnath Synergy Resorts LLP and aligns with the growing demand for internationally benchmarked accommodation and event infrastructure in spiritual tourism destinations. Somnath continues to witness rising tourism footfall driven by improved connectivity, infrastructure development, and increasing interest in religious and experiential travel across India.

Speaking on the development, Vikram Singh Chauhan stated that the signing reflects NILE Hospitality’s commitment to delivering transformative hospitality experiences in destination-led markets where organised branded accommodation remains limited but highly anticipated. He added that bringing the Courtyard by Marriott brand to Somnath presents an opportunity to redefine hospitality standards in the region.

Hitesh Mohandas Ramchandani highlighted Somnath’s prominence as a year-round pilgrimage hub and emphasised that the collaboration with NILE Hospitality and Marriott International will help deliver a differentiated and high-value hospitality asset for the destination.

The signing further strengthens NILE Hospitality’s presence across Gujarat, where it already operates in key tourism destinations such as Gir and Dwarka. The company continues to build an integrated hospitality network focused on leisure, spiritual, and destination-led travel markets.
