Ziro Music Festival 2026

The Ziro Festival of Music is set to return to Arunachal Pradesh’s picturesque Ziro Valley from September 24 to 27, 2026, bringing together more than 40 artists from India and across the world for its 13th edition.

The four-day festival will spotlight the diversity of independent music, with a particular focus on artists from Northeast India, alongside established Indian musicians and international performers. According to the organisers, the festival will feature artists from Algeria, Thailand, Palestine, Switzerland, South Africa, South Korea, Nepal, Ireland, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, further strengthening its international character.

Unlike conventional music festivals built around a single headline act, Ziro 2026 will follow a non-hierarchical programming approach, giving artists across genres and geographies space to share the stage. The format reflects the festival’s long-standing emphasis on discovering emerging voices while creating a platform for established performers.

The Indian lineup includes recognised names such as Sukhbir, Sneha Khanwalkar, Midival Punditz, Shakthisree Gopalan, Shanka Tribe and Parikrama. The festival will also place the spotlight firmly on the Northeast, featuring performers including Sukesh Suklabadya from Tripura, Manipur’s Chingleipak Collective and Yelhomie, Sikkim’s Tribal Rain, Nagaland’s Temsu Clover, Mizoram’s Mood Station, Assam’s Novo and Arunachal Pradesh’s David Angu.

Beyond its musical programming, the festival continues to position Ziro Valley as a destination for cultural discovery, bringing together audiences, artists and communities in an ecologically distinctive setting.

With its mix of regional talent, national performers and international participation, Ziro Festival of Music 2026 is set to create another four-day celebration of music and cultural exchange in Arunachal Pradesh.
