Visakhapatnam is set to host the ADTOI National Tourism Mart on 13–14 February 2026, bringing together key stakeholders from India’s domestic travel industry. Organised by the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) in collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department, the two-day event will take place in the coastal city known for its scenic landscape and growing tourism infrastructure.

Originally scheduled for 2025, the mart was rescheduled to ensure wider participation and better operational readiness. It is positioned as a major B2B platform for domestic tourism, attracting tour operators, travel professionals, destination promoters, hoteliers, and allied industry stakeholders from across the country.

The programme will feature structured business-to-business meetings, enabling one-to-one interactions between operators and destination partners to build long-term collaborations. Destination presentations will highlight Andhra Pradesh’s tourism offerings, including coastal experiences, spiritual circuits, heritage sites, eco-adventure trails, tribal tourism, and rural experiential products.

Panel discussions will bring together industry experts to discuss market trends, growth opportunities, sustainability frameworks, and innovations in domestic tourism. The event will also include familiarisation tours around Visakhapatnam and nearby destinations, offering participants firsthand experience of key tourism products.

According to Convention Chairman K. Vijaya Mohan, the mart aims to position Visakhapatnam as a strong domestic tourism hub while generating tangible business opportunities for stakeholders. He noted that the focus is not only on networking but also on creating real business leads and strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s presence in the domestic tourism circuit.

Officials expect the event to boost tourist arrivals, enhance visibility for emerging destinations, and support tourism-led economic growth for local communities.
