Uttar Pradesh, one of India’s most culturally rich states, is preparing to make a powerful impression at the upcoming Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025. Scheduled from September 25–29 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, this grand event will highlight the state’s tourism strength, traditional crafts, and growing digital infrastructure for travelers. The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is already gearing up to showcase the region’s vibrant culture, heritage sites, and signature products to a global audience.
The trade show aligns with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s larger vision of positioning Uttar Pradesh as a top global tourism destination and a key contributor to India’s one trillion-dollar economy goal. Tourism is one of the state’s key economic drivers, and UPITS 2025 will offer an unmatched platform for attracting tourists, investors, and international collaborations.
UPITS 2025 will go beyond traditional exhibitions, offering a strategic blend of tourism, business, and culture. From heritage temples and ancient architectural marvels to ODOP (One District One Product) displays and PPP-based tourism models, the event will offer visitors a deeper understanding of the state’s potential. Dedicated pavilions will be organized around themes such as temple tourism, local crafts, and cultural circuits. Auto-navigation screens will guide attendees through key tourist attractions using interactive digital maps.
A major highlight of this year’s participation is the integration of smart digital tools. The Tourism Department will roll out apps, QR code-based info points, and an interactive Augmented Reality (AR) panel where attendees can click selfies with iconic destinations like the Taj Mahal, Varanasi Ghats, and Ram Mandir. These tools aim to make travel planning more engaging and accessible.
UPITS 2025 will also celebrate the state’s dynamic performing arts. Throughout the event, live cultural shows will feature traditional dances like Mayur Nritya from Braj, tribal dances from Sonbhadra and Lakhimpur, Bundeli folk performances, and Kathak from Lucknow Gharana. Each performance will last around five minutes and will offer photography opportunities with the artists, creating a lively and immersive experience.
The state’s tourism push doesn’t end with the exhibition. UPITS 2025 is part of a larger plan to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s brand in both domestic and international tourism circuits. With historical landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Kashi Vishwanath, Mathura, and Ayodhya, the state is banking on its spiritual, architectural, and cultural diversity to attract global tourists.
In summary, UPITS 2025 is more than just an exhibition- it’s a defining moment for Uttar Pradesh’s tourism sector. By combining cultural richness with modern digital innovations, the event is poised to elevate the state’s image on the world map and open new doors for economic and tourism growth.
