TMS. Scan2card is a QR code and visiting card scanning app that turns paper leads into digital leads. How did your entrepreneurial journey begin, and what inspired you to start Scan2card?
Sourabh Solanki. My entrepreneurial journey started from a very practical challenge I experienced during exhibitions, conferences, and networking events. Despite collecting dozens or even hundreds of visiting cards, following up effectively was always a struggle—leads were scattered, data was lost, and timely connections were missed. I realized that while networking was happening offline, lead management needed to be smarter and digital. That insight led to the creation of Scan2card—a simple yet powerful solution that transforms paper leads into organized digital contacts and helps professionals stay connected through follow-ups and virtual meetings.
TMS. Scan2card plays a critical role in exhibitions, conferences, and corporate networking. How do you ensure the app keeps pace with evolving industry trends and user expectations?
Sourabh Solanki. We stay deeply connected with event professionals, sales teams, and business leaders who actively network. Their feedback directly influences our product roadmap. We continuously refine Scan2card to make it faster, more intuitive, and more valuable—whether it’s improving scanning accuracy, simplifying contact management, or enhancing follow-up workflows. By observing how networking behavior is changing and aligning with digital-first expectations, we ensure Scan2card remains relevant and future-ready.
TMS. What future innovations or enhancements are you planning for Scan2card in the next three years?
Over the next three years, our focus is on making Scan2card a complete networking and lead-engagement platform. This includes advanced CRM integrations, AI-driven lead insights, automated follow-up reminders, and deeper analytics to help users track conversion effectiveness. We also plan to strengthen video conferencing and real-time engagement features, making it easier for professionals to move from first contact to meaningful conversations seamlessly.
TMS. What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals in the events, networking, and digital solutions space?
Sourabh Solanki. My advice is to start by solving a real problem—one you’ve personally experienced. In fast-moving spaces like events and digital networking, simplicity and usability matter more than complexity. Build solutions that save time, improve efficiency, and add clear value. Stay open to feedback, evolve continuously, and focus on long-term relationships rather than quick wins. Consistency, trust, and innovation are what truly drive sustainable success.
