Aerocity is set to add another significant hospitality and business-events asset with the upcoming New Delhi Marriott Marquis, scheduled to open in Q1 2027.
According to Marriott International’s current hotel-opening pipeline, the property will feature 590 guestrooms. The same Aerocity development will also include The St. Regis New Delhi, currently listed by Marriott with 182 guestrooms and an expected opening in Q2 2027.
The two hotels are part of an integrated development by Prestige Group, located on a 7.7-acre site at Asset No. 13 in Aerocity, close to Indira Gandhi International Airport. Prestige describes the development as a hospitality-led mixed-use campus bringing together five-star hotels, commercial space and convention infrastructure.
For the MICE and exhibitions industry, the convention facilities are among the key elements of the development. According to Prestige, the campus will feature two large conference halls with capacity for up to 3,216 people, supported by banquet spaces of approximately 40,000 sq ft and 27,000 sq ft.
The location also adds to the project’s business-events proposition. The development is positioned close to IGI Airport and within easy access of the Aerocity Metro Station, connecting international and domestic travellers with the wider Delhi-NCR business ecosystem.
The arrival of Marriott Marquis alongside St. Regis represents a broader hospitality proposition for Aerocity, combining accommodation, meetings, conventions, dining and commercial infrastructure within one destination.
For Delhi’s growing business-events ecosystem, the project could add further capacity for corporate meetings, conferences, incentive programmes, social events and large-scale gatherings.
As Marriott Marquis moves closer to its planned 2027 opening, Aerocity continues to evolve beyond its role as an airport-linked hospitality district — strengthening its potential as an important business and MICE destination in the capital.
