ITC Hotels Expands Luxury Portfolio with New Hotel in Patna

ITC Hotels has announced the signing of definitive agreements with Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited (KIHPL) to manage a new 140-room luxury hotel in Patna, Bihar. This project is part of the Bihar Tourism development initiatives and was secured through a competitive government bidding process, with KIHPL selecting ITC Hotels as the hotel operator.

The new luxury hotel will be situated on a 1.5-acre site and aims to set a benchmark in Bihar and the region for luxury lodging and dining experiences. ITC Hotels has established a strong presence across India, including major metros and culturally rich cities such as New Delhi, Gurugram, Agra, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the new project, stating, “It shall be a privilege to showcase our iconic culinary and service excellence in Bihar through this ITC Luxury Hotel. Our luxury properties epitomize the culture and ethos of each destination, offering indigenous experiences while celebrating the rich heritage of the region through distinctive architecture, arts, crafts, and rituals.”

Manish Kumar, Director of Kumar Infra Hotel Private Limited, also commented on the partnership, saying, “We are excited and honored to have entered into management agreements with ITC Hotels for a new luxury hotel in Patna. It is a matter of pride for us to develop this project with the vision of the Bihar Government to strengthen the commercial and cultural identity of Patna. We look forward to our association with ITC Hotels to develop an iconic luxury project to elevate the tourism potential and hospitality landscape of Bihar.”

The upcoming ITC Hotel in Patna is expected to boost the state’s hospitality sector and attract both business and leisure travelers to Bihar’s capital. With its luxury amenities and meeting facilities, the property will cater to the growing demand for luxury hotels in the region.

This development aligns with ITC Hotels’ broader expansion strategy, which includes plans to operate over 220 properties by 2030, surpassing its earlier target of 200. The company aims to capitalize on the rising demand for hotel rooms, driven by increasing international tourist arrivals and ongoing economic and infrastructure development in India.
