The Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) will host the FAITH Conclave 2026 on 16-17 July 2026 at Taj Palace, New Delhi, under the theme “Incredible India: Invaluable Economics.” The two-day conclave aims to position tourism as a key driver of India’s economic growth while charting a future-ready roadmap for unlocking the country’s vast tourism potential.
The conclave will focus on key priorities shaping the future of India’s tourism ecosystem, including year-round leisure tourism, aviation-led growth, hospitality competitiveness, frontier tourism, sustainable tourism development, inbound tourism strategy and strengthening India’s leadership in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) sector.
The event will be inaugurated by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism & Culture, with inaugural addresses by Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, and Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir. A keynote address will be delivered by Gloria Guevara, Chief Executive Officer of the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).
The programme will also feature a keynote by Anurag Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), a fireside chat with Gen. Anil Chauhan (Retd.), former Chief of Defence Staff, on “Unlocking the Strategic Potential of India’s Border Destinations,” and an address by Suman Billa, Additional Secretary and Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Global perspectives will be shared by Dr. Philipp Ackermann, Ambassador of Germany to India, during a session on reimagining India’s inbound tourism strategy. Discussions on strengthening India’s MICE ecosystem will feature Dr. Neeraj Kharwal, Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), and Hari Kishore, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism and Chairman, India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB).
The conclave will also include inspirational sessions by acclaimed actors Boman Irani and Anupam Kher, while author and television personality Shailesh Lodha will present an engaging session titled “The Fun Side of Incredible India.”
The tourism and hospitality industry will be represented by leading business personalities, including Puneet Chhatwal (IHCL), Rajesh Magow (MakeMyTrip), Zubin Karkaria (VFS Global), Dr. Jyotsna Suri (The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group), K.B. Kachru (Radisson Hotel Group – South Asia), Nipun Agarwal (Air India), Aloke Singh (IndiGo) and Kevin Markette (Lufthansa Group), along with senior leaders from across the travel and hospitality ecosystem.
Speaking ahead of the conclave, Puneet Chhatwal, Chairman of FAITH, said India is at a defining moment in its tourism journey, backed by its rich heritage, diverse natural attractions and significant infrastructure investments. He emphasised that tourism is a powerful driver of employment, entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth, adding that the conclave aims to foster collaboration between government and industry while identifying actionable priorities to strengthen India’s position as one of the world’s leading tourism destinations.
