EaseMyTrip, one of India’s leading online travel platforms, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tourism New Zealand to strengthen travel connections and enhance accessibility for Indian travelers visiting the island nation.

This collaboration will introduce tailored travel packages, seasonal promotions, and seamless booking solutions, making it easier for Indian tourists to experience New Zealand’s breathtaking landscapes. By offering curated experiences and exclusive deals, the partnership aims to streamline travel while catering to the preferences of Indian visitors.

Aligned with Tourism New Zealand’s goal of increasing Indian tourist arrivals, the initiative focuses on reducing travel barriers and promoting year-round tourism.

Nishant Pitti, Chairman & Founder of EaseMyTrip, highlighted that the partnership would provide Indian travelers with a hassle-free and affordable way to explore New Zealand.

“New Zealand is a paradise for nature lovers, offering a stunning mix of scenic beauty, adventure, and rich cultural heritage. Through this collaboration, we are excited to bring exclusive travel experiences that allow Indian tourists to immerse themselves in New Zealand’s charm while ensuring smooth bookings and affordability,” he stated.

Rene de Monchy, Chief Executive of Tourism New Zealand, emphasized India’s rapid growth as a key market for New Zealand tourism.

“India is one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing markets, with holiday visitor numbers seeing double-digit growth and significant potential for expansion. The travel trade plays a crucial role in shaping visitor interest and positioning New Zealand as a premium destination for discerning travelers,” Monchy noted.

He further reiterated their commitment to strengthening commercial partnerships, stating, “With enhanced connectivity and targeted, high-impact marketing campaigns, we are focused on converting this interest into actual bookings and visitation.”

The MoU will encourage travel during New Zealand’s autumn, winter, and spring seasons, which align with major holiday periods in India.

According to the Crisil Report Assessment of the OTA Industry in India (February 2021), EaseMyTrip ranks among India’s largest online travel platforms based on air ticket bookings.

Through this partnership, EaseMyTrip expands its global presence while reinforcing its position as a preferred OTA for Indian travelers seeking international experiences.
