British Airways has expanded its India–UK network with the launch of a third daily service between Delhi and London Heathrow, adding further capacity to one of the airline’s important international routes as demand for travel between the two markets continues to build.
The additional service, which commenced on September 20, will be operated with the airline’s Boeing 787 fleet, giving passengers increased choice and flexibility when travelling between Delhi and London.
The expansion forms part of British Airways’ broader increase in India–London connectivity for the upcoming winter season. The airline is set to operate up to 70 weekly flights between India and London Heathrow, representing a 25% increase over last year’s winter schedule.
The enhanced schedule comes as air connectivity continues to play an important role in supporting business, tourism, family travel and wider economic links between India and the UK. For Delhi, one of India’s major international aviation gateways, the additional London capacity further strengthens connections with a key global travel and business hub.
To mark the introduction of the new service, British Airways is also offering special fares from Delhi to London, giving travellers an opportunity to access promotional pricing alongside the increased frequency.
London Heathrow also serves as an important connecting hub for British Airways, enabling passengers from India to access a wider network of destinations across the UK, Europe and other international markets.
The latest expansion underlines the airline’s continued focus on the Indian market and its response to evolving travel demand. With a third daily flight now available, the Delhi–London route gains additional capacity at a time when international travel continues to strengthen.
For travellers, the expanded schedule means more frequency, greater flexibility and stronger direct connectivity between two major global cities, further reinforcing the importance of the India–UK air corridor.
