The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, is set to host the FPO–Hospitality & Farmers’ Benefit Summit 2025.
Scheduled for November 24, 2025, at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi, the summit is organized around the theme “Bridging Fields to Forks: Strengthening Agri-Hospitality Linkages for Inclusive Growth.”
The primary objective of the event is to establish a national platform that connects Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), the hospitality sector, and government bodies. This initiative seeks to encourage direct procurement linkages, promote sustainable sourcing, and drive inclusive rural development across the country.
Key government officials are expected to attend and grace the Summit, including Mr. Devesh Chaturvedi, IAS, Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Suman Billa, IAS, Additional Secretary and Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as the Guest of Honor.
The Summit will feature participation from representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, the Ministry of Tourism, leading hotel chains, and FPO representatives from various regions of India.
A central highlight of the event will be a dedicated Business-to-Business (B2B) session. This session is intended to facilitate direct interaction between FPOs and hospitality enterprises, allowing them to explore partnership opportunities and establish actionable business linkages.
The Summit is particularly relevant for industry professionals such as executive chefs, senior food & beverage personnel, and Purchase Managers. It offers these individuals a valuable chance to identify reliable sourcing partners and directly engage with FPOs for fresh, quality produce, thereby supporting the development of a more robust and sustainable supply chain for the hotel and restaurant industry.
