Global hospitality group Atmosphere Core has announced its entry into Northeast India with the development of a 75-key upscale boutique hotel in Shillong, Meghalaya, scheduled to open in 2027. The project, named DHAR GOLF VISTA, is being developed in partnership with Rocky Dhar, marking a significant expansion of the brand’s footprint in emerging Indian destinations.
Strategically located near Shillong’s iconic 18-hole golf course, the upcoming property will offer panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and cityscape, positioning it as a premium hospitality destination. The hotel will feature a mix of deluxe rooms, suites, and presidential suites, along with a range of lifestyle amenities including all-day dining spaces, a rooftop resto-bar, a sports pub, wellness facilities under the ELE|NA spa brand, a swimming pool, and recreational zones.
The development reflects Atmosphere Core’s broader strategy to tap into high-potential leisure and experiential destinations, particularly in India’s Northeast, which is witnessing growing interest from both domestic and international travellers.
