The Indian Wedding Industry Association (IWIA) successfully concluded the landmark IWIA Grand Mahotsav 2026 at The Raffles x Udman Square, Gurugram, bringing together more than 2,000 stakeholders from India’s wedding, hospitality, tourism and events ecosystem. The event witnessed the participation of renowned entrepreneurs, luxury hospitality brands, wedding planners, destination specialists, décor experts, artists, policymakers, influencers and industry leaders, making it one of the country’s largest celebrations dedicated to the wedding and celebrations industry. The Grand Mahotsav was led by Mr. Neeraj Dhawan, Founder & Chairman, and Mr. Mika Singh, Founder & Vice Chairman, under the guidance of the IWIA Founding Council, comprising Mr. Raghubir Singh, Founder & President; Mr. Barun Gupta, Founder & Vice President; Ms. Shagun Sethi, Founder & Vice President; Ms. Saloni Gupta, Founder & Head – CSR; Mr. Rishi Khandelwal, Founder & Secretary; Ms. Raksha S. Chawla, Founder & Joint Secretary; and Mr. Rajat Dhingra, Founder & Joint Secretary. Together, the leadership reaffirmed IWIA’s commitment to creating a unified, progressive and globally recognized platform that promotes collaboration, innovation, business growth and excellence across India’s rapidly expanding wedding and celebrations industry.

The event was graced by Mr. Suman Billa, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Arun Srivastava, Joint Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, whose presence highlighted the growing importance of the wedding industry in driving tourism, entrepreneurship, employment and economic development. In his address, Mr. Neeraj Dhawan, Founder & Chairman, IWIA, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries, including Mr. Vikas Gutgutia, Founder & Managing Director, Ferns N Petals, and Mr. Rituraj Khanna, pioneer of luxury wedding décor in India, acknowledging their immense contribution to the evolution of the industry. He also thanked every member, exhibitor, partner and attendee who travelled from across India, stating that “Grand Mahotsav is not just a gathering; it is the heartbeat of India’s wedding industry.” He further emphasized that the collaboration between Incredible India and IWIA marks the beginning of a transformative journey to position India as the Wedding Capital of the World, while recognizing the unwavering support of industry partners who invested not merely in an event, but in a shared vision for the future. The evening concluded with electrifying performances by Mika Singh, Millind Gaba, Ashok Masti and Kaptaan Laadi, hosted by MC Priyanka Bhalla Dua, making IWIA Grand Mahotsav 2026 a historic celebration and setting a new benchmark for India’s wedding and events industry.
