In a significant move reflecting the shift of luxury hospitality into culturally rich destinations, Espire Hospitality Limited has signed an agreement with Marriott International to develop a premium JW Marriott Resort & Spa near Vrindavan. The property is slated to open in January 2029 and will be developed across 14 acres, strategically located within an hour’s drive from New Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida.

Marking a key addition to Espire Hospitality’s growing luxury portfolio, following its association with Six Senses Fort Barwara, the upcoming resort will feature 151 keys, including guest rooms, luxury villas with cascading water features, and a Presidential Suite. The development aims to cater to a diverse mix of travellers, including leisure guests, corporate FITs, MICE segments, and destination weddings.

The project is being conceptualised around experiential luxury, integrating sustainability, local craftsmanship, and conscious sourcing into its design. The resort will blend art, culture, and natural surroundings to deliver an immersive and tranquil guest experience. Akhil Arora, CEO and Managing Director of Espire Hospitality Limited, described the project as a “sanctuary of soulful luxury,” combining contemporary elegance with cultural richness. Gagan Oberoi, CEO of Espire Group, emphasised that the collaboration aligns with the group’s strategy to expand its ultra-luxury footprint through high-impact developments.

The resort will offer extensive wellness, dining, and recreational facilities, including three dining venues, an all-day multi-cuisine restaurant, a specialty alfresco restaurant, and a poolside bar. Wellness amenities will feature an Eden-inspired spa, health club, salon, kids’ club, mini water park, outdoor heated pool, and a dedicated children’s pool.

Additionally, the property will include a grand ballroom, landscaped celebration courtyard, and multiple meeting spaces, positioning it as a prime destination for weddings, conferences, and corporate retreats. This development underscores the rising demand for experiential, destination-led luxury travel in India.
